Science Fiction Monologue
Megalomaniacs and Gigantophobs, Volume 107, 2024
One of the tasks of science fiction is to free the reader from his anthropocentrism in order that he could explain existence not only from his own point of view. He is then able to imagine phenomena, worlds, beings and ways of thinking being very different from the ones he is familiar with. Such a completely different kind of intelligence helps us to do this by putting itself entirely in our shoes.
